Profinet VLAN configuration

Hi, I am working on a  design that involves Profinet protocol. I have two Couplers connect to IE 4000 switch. Both couples are on two separate VLANs (Let's say VLAN 500 and 501). The couplers should talk to controllers in the same VLAN using Profinet protocol. Coupler one should talk to controller one (both on VLAN 500) & coupler, two should talk to controller 2 (both on VLAN501)

1. I am a little confused. Cisco documents say that we can only have ONE Profinet VLAN per switch, Is this mean  I cannot have VLAN 500 and 501 on the same switch for couplers?

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/cisco_ie5000/software/release/15-2_2_eb/configuration/guide/scg-ie5000/swprofinet.pdf

(Check the Profinet VLAN id, section)

Thank you very much

Hello,

I did some research, and it looks like only one Vlan per switch is allowed because Profinet needs a tagged Vlan for real time message exchange. Since you can only have one tagged Vlan on a switch, that seems to be the reason for the restriction...
