Putty access switch

Using the Datacenter laptop's securecrt, I am able to access the switches using ssh2.

But when I use my laptops putty to access switch using ssh , it's not working.

Is there anything that I have to check in the settings for this.

There could be lots of reasons.

First, are the devices using username/password authentication, or secure keys?  If securekeys, have you copied these to your ntotebook?

The devices might only allow access from specific IP addresses, such as that of the data centre laptop.  Your laptop will have a different IP, so may be denied.
