Hi, could somone explain to me the meaning of this?
PVLAN on FEX trunks are not supported for a FEX with a Leaf Spine Engine (LSE)
My Neads:
I've got to transport Private Vlan ad Normal Vlan on the trunk port between a N9k ad a N2K
Example:
I have an N2K attached to a N9K in a straight design
If i implement the command: system private-vlan fex trunk
I can configure interfaces or P.O. on the N2k that belong to the private Vlans and other interfaces that have normal access vlans.
Thanks in advance
Stefano

Hello,
Leaf Spine Engine is a cloud architecture where you have full mesh topology between the Leafs(lower-tier switch) and Spines (top-tier switches).
Private VLAN is precisely the oposite. PVLAN is also known as "Port Isolation".
Modern Cloud topologies riped off most of old technology like Spanning-tree for example.

You mean, in a FEX with NO Leaf Spine Engine (LSE) ?
I dont think so. Cisco states that "The FEX interface does not support configurations that include promiscuous ports. Also, the FEX interface does not support connections to devices that have promiscuous ports. "
