Pvlan trunk on CBS31X0 switch

Hello, I need to configure a pvlan trunk on DELL enclosure with Cisco Blade Switch, to permit pvlan and a normal Vlan.

My version is

Cisco IOS Software, CBS31X0 Software (CBS31X0-UNIVERSAL-M), Version 12.2(55)SE, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

But, when I want to enter "Trunk" on private vlan mode, I can´t, because only has "host" and "prominiscous" mode.

DBUEPACDC-1(config-if)#switchport mode private-vlan ?

  host              Set the mode to private-vlan host

  promiscuous  Set the mode to private-vlan promiscuous

Any idea?

Hi,

You only trunk the uplink and not the interface connecting to the end devices:

Hi Reza, thanks for reply. Yes, trunk apply to Uplink switches, but in this case, I need trunk the port connected to server. This server (HP Blade) will tag all the packets.

Then in that case the vlans need to be isolated.

From the config guide:

Private VLAN Trunk Port

A PVLAN trunk port can carry multiple secondary (isolated only) and  non-PVLANs. Packets are received and transmitted with secondary or  regular VLAN tags on the PVLAN trunk ports. Note Only IEEE 802.1q encapsulation is supported.
