question about fex(febric extender)

I have a question about fex.

I am trying to replace the fex product. If you remove the cable when you replace it, please answer if you know whether the fex related config of the backbone device that is linked with fex is left or it is blown.

the config on the parent switch that holds the fex config like the 5k or 7k is left there it does not get removed  , fexs are dumb so when there connected they will pull config back down the same config even if diff fex
