Hello,
I need help in my network.
I have two devices(ex: laptop) connected to a switch 3650 IPServices and a server.
My probleme, laptops have same IP and i can't change it (no choice). Sometime they will be connected together on the switch and sometime only one (but always on the same interface).
Server have to backup data from laptop when they are connected.
Laptop 1, 192.168.1.1 |---------------|0/1 0/3 |-----------| 10.10.10.1, Server
| Switch 3650 |
Laptop 2, 192.168.1.1 |---------------|0/2 |
My idea was to put IP on interface 0/1 and 0/2 and use route map and ACL to forward packet on right interface.
ex:
0/1 -> 10.10.10.2
0/2 -> 10.10.10.3
To join Laptop 1 server will use 10.10.10.2 ACL will catch on host and destination and route map will forward packet on interface (and not a IP) 0/1.
For me my solution have two problem.
First, dest_host isn't 192.168.1.1, so in exemple, laptop 1 will drop it. Can i change it ?
Second, a route map can forward on a interface and not a IP ?
Thanks for your reply ! :)

Your solution won't work because you are not changing the destination IP.
You probably don't want to hear this but the answer is do not connect both laptops at same time or make sure the laptops have different IPs.

I suspected it but I hoped that there was a solution.
Thanks
