Hello Friends!

Please help me understand what does mean "show aaa servers" command output from 3850 switches

I couldn`t find any information...

State: current UP, duration 177s, previous duration 219s
Dead: total time 3875s, count 0
Platform State from SMD: current UP, duration 341s, previous duration 55s
SMD Platform Dead: total time 3771s, count 0
Platform State from WNCD: current UP, duration 0s, previous duration 0s
Platform Dead: total time 0s, count 0
Quarantined: No

What mean

Actual State?

Platform State from SMD?

Platform State from WNCD?

What dependencies they have from configuration poin of view?

Thanks in advance)

Tom

I'm going to give it a try to resurrect this thread because i have the same need getting this explained properly

Could some explain me what Platform State from SMD/WNCD means? Because it looks like i have an issue with my RADIUS server (ISE)

Still, the command "test aaa group radius server 192.168.255.49 auth-port 1812 acct-port 1813 test-user test legacy" and "test aaa group radius server 192.168.255.49 auth-port 1812 acct-port 1813 test-user test new-code" give me the result "rejected by server" which makes me believe RADIUS is properly working?
