hi,
most of the examples I saw regarding RADIUS configuration whether from Internet or books, are illustrated with VTY Telnet.
I am confused a bit here, is this the scope of RADIUS with Cisco IOS?
I was thinking about a scenario of
Host-1-----------------R1------------------RADIUS-Server
|
|
Host-2
is it possible to activate R1 interface faces Host-1 (if Host-1 wants to communicate with Host-2) through RADIUS authentication process?
if this is possible, can you please paste a sample of the configuration here?
thanks,

Hi
Radius can be used for network management access but also for the scenario you shared.
What you want to do is Nac. You need to configure the port to authenticate through radius server by using computer name, user/password, certificates or even mac address.
I hope this answer your question
Thanks
