Hello all,
No whiz with networking, and definitely no whiz with Cisco gear, but recently taken the helm at a new network and getting some dropouts.
Not sure if there are multiple issues at work or not but, about four times every 24 hours (with no real regularity) we get dropouts of around 2 min. We have a "core" switch (being four switches stacked together) and whenever I've been in the server room (stack members 1 and 2 are in the same rack, members 3 and 4 in others) switch #2 has blinked the system light a bit.
Firstly, logs on the core switch show me this pretty much constantly:
Not sure what to do here, had a bit of a google but I am stumped.
However when a "proper" dropout occurs it looks like the following (hopefully these snips are in sequence!)
Gotta say I don't know enough about what this is trying to tell me to troubleshoot.
If anyone's passing and could help me dissect this one I'd really appreciate a hand!
Thanks all.

The only thing that is of concern is someone plugging in and removing optics on the 9500.
If the switch was, say, a 3750X, this sort of behaviour would be fine. But if this was done to a 9300/9400/9500/9600 and the plugging in and removing was constant, it would cause the process that detects the insertion and removal of the optics to crash. When this happens, the switch will eventually not recognize the optics are in until a cold reboot is done.

Thanks for that Leo. Sorry if being dense but is it looking like that in this case do you mean? Switches are Cisco SX550X types, four in the stack. Switches 1 and 2 in the stack are in one building and switches 3 and 4 are in another building, connected over fibre between buildings.
Worth a reboot do you think?
Thanks for the help there.

Apologies are mine. I am not familiar with the behaviour of SMB switches.
