Hi guys
I am building CCIE home lab now, is that ok to use C3750-24TS-E V05 instead of 3560? Do I miss any features for the exam if I use 3750?

hi,
yes, it's absolutely fine to use a 3750 as long as you've got money for it. the 3750 basically has all the features of a 3560 with the only benefit of stacking.
other candidates opt for 2x 3550 and 2x 23560. you may alternatively want to obtain 4x 3560 instead of getting 3750s.

Thanks Very much John
I have realized that the CCIE lab using 4 3560, but I am going to get 2 3550 and 2 3750, does it service the same purpose or some test I may not be able to perform
Also what is the difference between Cisco WS-C3750-24TS-S and WS-C3750-24TS-E V05
Thanks

Hi,
Both platform's hardware are basically identical. The only difference is the IOS it supports. 'S' for Standard image and 'E' for Enhanced.
Thanks for the rating and please mark as resolved/answered.
