Hi
I think the problem is with a corrupted image. Try these commands over rommon
dir flash: (to identify the image.bin)
boot flash:<image.bin> then press enter.

I recommend to try with putty terminal software

Are you able to ping the router from the computer? they must have in the same network segment, also verify if your window firewall is disabled or any antivirus.

I have connected the Cisco router to my home Modem using LAN1 port (Modem) and FE0/0 (cisco router)
I have checked my network devices in the http:/home (connection Hub). However, the cisco router is not showing.

It is best to run the TFTPDNLD utility with the router connected directly to your laptop or workstation. Connecting through an intermediate hub or switch complicates things and often doesn't work. That has been my experience anyway.
The router does have a flash card....correct?

Hi
Unfortunately the Cisco routers 2600 don't have compact flash.
This link could be useful to upgrade from rommon.

Thank you, guys.
I was able to reset the router to default setting by using a crossover cable from the LAN port of the router to my laptop and using a tftp server.

Great! good to know, thank you for the update.
It was a pleasure.

What ever IOS is on the flash is not readable. You could try and load a fresh IOS using the TFTPDNLD rommon utility:
