router and layer 2 switch, etherchannel

Hi everybody

Please consider the following scenario

  internet------  Router f0/0------------------------------f1/1SW-----------rest of network

                                f0/1-------------------------------f1/2

hosts located in " rest of network" uses Router as a default gateway to reach internet.  Sw is a layer 2 switch. We want to establish a etherchannel between routers routed ports f0/0,f0/1 and sw acess ports f1/1,f1/2. So our etherchannel will have l3 ports on one side( at router) and l2 accessports at sw side.

We want to use PagP to form etherchannel.

I configured sw for etherchannel as:

int range f1/1-2

switchport access vlan 1

channel-protocol  PagP   ( do i need this command ? )

channel-group 1 mode desirable.

Now how do we configure router for etherchannel? the port channel should be configured with ip 199.199.199.1/24 which is the default gateway for hosts located in " rest of network".

thanks and have a great weekend.
