Router is not booting with new IOS- Cisco 1905

Hi,

 

We have changed the boot image also but still router is booting with the old IOS.

Could you please share the console logs during the upgrade. Also, i would suggest to verify the rommon variables. You can verify that by typing in the command "set" after entering the rommon mode.

Another test that you can perform is, delete the old IOS image file from the file system and see if the router now boots up with the new image. 

Also, please share the output of the command - show bootvar

Hold on, the boot variable string is incorrect.  

The correct syntax should be "boot system flash flash:<FILENAME>.bin".

in the version is showing in 'usbflash0:c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M4.bin'.

 

 

Console into the router and reboot the router. I want to see what the router is actually doing.
