safety concern

Hi..

We use cisco 2950 switches in several locations at our campus. All of them are locked up in cabinets. Some of these cabinets are located 2 to 3 meters away from clerks and receptionists working in an old building with no rooms designed to enclose networking equipment.

My question is whether there is any danger to human health due to radiation or emissions from these switches (max a stack of three per cabinet) or only interference with other equipment is the concern.

I would like to have links to sites discussing this issue because the managemnt requires some references.
