We have recently purchased 8 Fiber SFP modules (Model # GLC-LH-SMD) from a Cisco partner, but 2 of them observed faulty. Vendor provide us the replacement but both replace SFPs were again observered faulty.
I want to verify the serial numbers of SFPs from Cisco because I don't think so that Genuine box packed SFPs can be observed on first plug in. If any verification tool is available then please share with me.
