Setting up Span port on Catalyst 6500 for monitoring and access

We need to setup a monitoring tool that has got only 1 got one ethernet port on it. On the 6500 we need to setup the port, this tool connects to as a access port and a monitoring port. I know on the older Cisco switches can do this by adding the ingress command to the monitor destination port. Does anybody know how this can be setup? Thanks Benjamin

Catalyst 6500 Release 12.2SX Software Configuration Guide - SPAN, RSPAN, and ERSPAN:

From 12.2SX config guide, I see this feature is still supported. Please be aware of some of the restrictions/limitation mentioned in the above doc.
