SG300 for Comcast fiber routing, VLAN routing

We recently received new fiber service from Comcast. I wasn't aware that we would need separate equipment to make our 5 static IP's usable, so in the meantime we've use the WAN block information from our RV082 to for Internet. Now, we need to make use of the separate static IP's. It was recommended to use an SG300.

So far, I've managed to set the SG300 to L3 mode, create the separate vlan's on the switch and assign separate ports and IP addresses. I can also ping the given L3 addresses from the usable static IP's.

I've tested this using a static IP on a Windows laptop, creating a static route to the L3 network scope, and then pinging.

The problem that I'm having is that I don't have Internet access from the laptop now with this configuration. What could be missing? I've read some posts about a static route within the switch, but don't know if I've set those up properly.

What I've been given from Comcast is:

Customer L3 IP

Link address: x.x.x.188/30

Gateway: x.x.x.189

L3 IP: x.x.x.190

Mask: 255.255.255.252

Customer Usable IP Info

IP Block: y.y.y.112/29

IP Ranges: y.y.y.113-.118

Mask: 255.255.255.248

In the SG300 and laptop, I've setup

vlan 1 with IP address x.x.x.190 mask 255.255.255.252

vlan 300 with IP address y.y.y.113 mask 255.255.255.248

laptop with IP address y.y.y.114 mask 255.255.255.248 gw y.y.y.113

As said before, I can ping both x.x.x.190 and x.x.x.189 from the laptop with this configuration. However I can't access the Internet. What might I be missing?
