show missing cdp neighbors on switch?

Is there any way to show missing CDP neighbors? With the command sh cdp neighbors you only see the current neighbors.

May be neighbor support lldp not cdp.

Possibly you might be able to use an EEM or NMS to detect and report a CDP neighbor that's "disappeared".

Likely a CDP neighbor that's disappeared also occurs with an interface drop.

Don't recall whether CDP changes can be logged, but if they can, checking log results (again probably with an interface drop), might be used too.
