We have two new cisco C9300-48U. when I ran it up and put one into production, it seemed fine.. but now when I issue the command 'sh auth sess' it takes over a minute to produce output :

I'm also seeing this throughout the log

We decided to upgrade to latest version Everest-16.6.2  ED and logs no longer coming but still slow in running the command.

upgraded to 16.2.2
camia#sh ver
Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.06.02

ROM: IOS-XE ROMMON
BOOTLDR: System Bootstrap, Version 16.6.1r [FC1], RELEASE SOFTWARE (P)

and I'm still seeing the issue :

camia#sh clock

doing this command also takes a long time

camia#sh auth brief switch active r0

but doing either of these commands :
camia#sh auth sess int g1/0/1
camia#sh auth sess int g1/0/1 detail

is instant.. it just seems to be the enumeration process that seems to take a long time.

Does any one have faced same issue and found resolution ?

Cisco recently released new version Everest-16.6.3  ED (02-Mar-2018). After upgrading to that version issue got fixed. One minute reduced to 2 second to produce output.

Even after upgrade still logs coming...WRClient 0x18d949f8 download to DP failed...Seems hardware is bad...Look forward to see the suggestions...

You're posting this in the UC area of CSC, might want to move this to the switching area to get assistance.
