We are trying to setup Smart Install and having a problem with TFTP. When we boot a new switch, it appears that the switch does not try to download it's config from the TFTP server (which is not on the director) but tries to download it's config from the director. The director is a 3750-48p and the client is a 2960-24TC-S. These switches are on their own network, no router is connected. The TFTP server is running on the workstation that is directly connected to the 3750 (running Tftp32) which has a connection to the 2960. Here is our config:

Tftp32 - 172.16.6.6
