Software suggestions for testing a QoS Model?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a good application to test a new QoS model. QoS has always been a bit of a "black art" as it is difficult to accurately simulate congestion to test the effect. I'm hoping there might be an application out there that would be able to automate the testing based on a set of parameters and produce a report of some type. I envisage that the application would be able to generate traffic tagged with differing DSCP and be able to monitor the network's reaction to load. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?
