*Edit* This is solved now but I don't know how to remove the post. I found out that I needed to add the router's IP address as the default gateway in the MLS.
Hi there,
I'm testing a network in cisco packet tracer.
It seems that my PC units can successfully ping to the multi layer switch in my network and the MLS can also ping to the router successfully, but unfortunately the PCs cannot ping to the router. I checked in simulation mode and it shows that the packet is sent back by the MLS instead of passing it on to the router before being returned. If I try to ping the PC from the router instead, the packet is instantly dropped.
Does the problem reside in the MLS or the router?
I've attached the network file so anyone can check and figure it out. The first password is "cisco" then the EXEC mode password is "class".
Any help would be appreciated.
