We have a requirement to mirror ports from physical boxes (connected to N5k layer), to a VM box.. I have gone through ERSPAN from N1KV to N5K, but my requirement is reverse.
My N5k is not a layer 3 device.. we have the layer 3 terminating on N7K's.. is it possible to forward traffic to ERSPAN destination IP ? If so, can you guys advice what the destination IP should be on VM ? Has anyone tried this ?
