Spanning tree Best Path selection time window through BPDUs

Hello 

i want to ask that, After selection of Root Bridge for a moment every switch sends BPDUs before its only the RB who keeps or starts sending BPDUs.

are the BPDUs sent in this time window measure best path or lowest cost links to Root Bridge ?

Hi,

Once root bridge is elected, only RB will originate a CONFIGURATION BPDU, all non root bridge switches will send COPIES only.
