Stack 6800IA FPD with FPDR

Would like to ask, is stacking 6800IA-48FPD with 6800IA-48FPDR possible/recommended?

Hi,

Yes, you can mix them as long as they are both IA switches which in your case they are. From the 6800ia stacking document:

Cisco FlexStack-Plus provides stacking of up to five Cisco Catalyst 6800ia switches through an integrated module. The Cisco Catalyst 6800ia switches only stack with other Cisco Catalyst 6800ia switches.
