Hello,

Yes the ASA can use Dynamic routing protocols and Static routing protocols, now can you provide a diagram of what you are looking for or at least be a little more specific so we can provide you or guide you to the perfect deployment.

Are there interfaces on the ASA already cconfigured for Branch #1 and Branch #2?

How do clients from the main office(192.168.1.0/24) get to the two branches currently?

  1. the asa is not configured yet and is not connected. pls see the dig below
  2. by adding static route to their XPs' routing table. (yes, on every machice. tedious work....)

thanks

  1. please don't ask me to configure the isp routers because i cannot. although these routers are in head office but we are not allow to configure them
  2. we are planning to connect the asa 5505 directly to the modem and to remove the internet gatway

thanks

Hello pp,rr ,

I think we have answered your question, yes you can configure routing protocols and static routes on an ASA, now what else are you looking for on this particular discussion, we do not see the ASA on the diagram.
