hi

im only back in the office today , I don't work on wireless cisco only aruba

your better off opening that question in the wireless section forum

Hello ,

good morning,

please can you tell me what is the meaning of these line.

Create Layer2 Vlan on Both Core and allowed towards Southbound switches

Create Layer3 Vlan on Both Core and allowed towards Southbound Switch

what is the meaning of L2 Vlan and L3 Vlan,

layer 2 vlan is a vlan added just to the layer 2 database , klayer 3 vlan is an vlan interface interface vlan x

means please give me one example . i always create int vlan no.

L2

(conf t)

vlan 10

name mark

L3

interface vlan 10

ip address x.x.x.x

L2

(conf t)

vlan 10

name mark

L3

interface vlan 10

ip address x.x.x.x

why we do this , what is the benefits of this. please tell me.

its the  way the OSI layers work in order from layer 1 -7 , vlans exist at layer 2 and 3 , the layer 3 breaks the broadcast domain stops unnecessary flooding

thanks for reply

and why we create L2 vlan ...

basically because you have too, layer 3 vlan wont work if there is no layer 2 , its the way the OSI layers work

and suppose i am using L3 switch and don create L2 vlan only Layer 3 vlan i create., here it will not work... ?

That's not possible if you only create a layer 3 vlan it will either automatically create it at layer 2 or it will not come up/up at all until layer 2 is in place
