I have a production 4500 switch that is currently running a defered version of code for the 4510R+E. My manager has asked me to upgrade the code so we can configure ssh as it is running the non-crypto version right now. The switch is currently running 3.1.1SG (cat4500e-universal.SPA.03.01.01.SG.150-1.XO1). Looking at the available version 3.2.2SG is the earliest non-deferred version. I would like to note I have yet to experience the bug that is noted on 3.1.1SG. At any rate, I would like to know if anyone is using 3.2.2SG in a production enviroment and if they have had any issues with it. I don't have any 4500's in my lab so I can't test it out. Any and all input is welcomed.
Thank you for your time.

Hello barweiss45,
Aside from version of IOS, I would also recommend checking on the ROMMON version you are running, and check release notes for recommended versions. If I recall correctly, starting with 3.2.0 SUP7E recommendation for ROMMON is 15.0(1r)SG5. If your version is older than the recommended version from release notes, you'll want to upgrade at least to that version. If your ROMMON is newer, then do not try to downgrade, leave it at the version in place.
Hope this helps,
Matt
