SUP720-3BXL Active/Standby installation

I install one sup720-3bxl on 6509 slot 5. After that I configured and checked all service are normal. then I install sup720-3bxl on slot 6 for standby but once I install it. The sup at slot 5 is reboot and enter to rommon mode. what I do mistake for this process. Thank you in advance

How many modules slots are there in your switch. As there is a specification given by cisco for insertion of Sup Engines according to No. Of slots in switch.

3-slot chassis: slots 1 and 2

? 4-slot chassis: slots 1 and 2

? 6-slot chassis: slots 5 and 6

? 9-slot chassis: slots 5 and 6

? 13-slot chassis: slots 7 and 8
