I have a 2911 with a EHWIC-VA-DSL & EHWIC-D-8ESG.
I had a look at configuration examples for the -8ESG and it looked pretty fierce to someone who doesn't speak IOS like a native.
Is there a simple configuration that will let it work as a simple 8-port hub? No routing, just turn the thing into a VDSL modem with 8 ports? Or, alternative topology, into effectively a dumb 8-port hub plugged in to gig0/0?
I'm not a total newbie; I got the thing routing and connecting to the internet via a cellular 3G HWIC just an exercise in hacking - but configuring the -8ESG is a bit alphabet soup.
