I have a 4 port link sys hub, I want to uplink it to a cisco 3508 switch, but it is not linking with it, however when I connect it to a 3rd party switch it works ok. Can anyone help with is prob..

Could be that the port is disabled? The 3550 series also doesn't support auto-mdix so that could be it. You tried a crossover?
