but when we download from Cisco, the file is .bin, not in .TAR format

TAR file is the COMPLETE file which includes the BIN file and the HTML files.

As re-install it might take downtime,

No it won't.

can guide me how to copy the html file and made it work?

But I have already given you the command how to "un-pack" the TAR file into the switch in my last post.

Depends on how you upgraded the IOS.

The "quick" method is to copy the BIN file.  The "complete" method is to un-pack the entire TAR file which will include the HTML files.

mm.. since i upgrade already, then how can I copy the html file? Can i copy from the old directory flash: c2960-lanbasek-mz.122-44.SE6 ? HOw to do that? Can you guide me the command? switch#sh flas Directory of flash:/     2  -rwx    11049093  Jul 14 2012 10:16:13 +08:00  c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-1.SE3.bin     4  -rwx        736  Jul 14 2012 12:34:02 +08:00  vlan.dat     5  -rwx        1921  Aug 15 2012 14:28:14 +08:00  private-config.text     6  drwx        192  Mar 1 1993 08:09:00 +08:00  c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6   548  -rwx        4863  Aug 15 2012 14:28:14 +08:00  config.text   549  -rwx        4120  Aug 15 2012 14:28:14 +08:00  multiple-fs 32514048 bytes total (11043328 bytes free) switch#cd flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6 switch#dir flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6 %Error opening flash:/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6 (No such file or directory) switch#dir Directory of flash:/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6/     7  drwx        4672  Mar 1 1993 08:07:13 +08:00  html   546  -rwx    7075041  Mar 1 1993 08:09:00 +08:00  c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6.bin   547  -rwx        525  Mar 1 1993 08:09:00 +08:00  info 32514048 bytes total (11043328 bytes free) switch#

Good gosh.

The easiest way is to re-"install" the IOS file using the command "archive download-sw /over tftp:///IOS.TAR".

Dear Leolaohoo, Thank a lot. Mmm.. but when we download from Cisco, the file is .bin, not in .TAR format As re-install it might take downtime, hard for us to get downtime, can guide me how to copy the html file and made it work?
