Switch Hyper Terminal Problem

when we want to connect switch though Hyper Terminal it showing following problem:-

% No defaulting allowed

Hello Ravi,

the switch has an empty configuration and you are during initial setup where it puts you questions like the one you have reported.

This question asks what of the interfaces with an ip address has to be used to look for a default gateway/default route

you can skip all this and you can manually configure the device or you can take advantage of initial setup to have some parameters configured like hostname, ip addresses on interfaces and where to look for a default gateway/default route
