Switch STACK Configuration

Hi,

How to configure switch stack? because I did in the second switch , switch1 renumber 1 then reload and then I'll checked by using show switch the new switch showing is not ready.

Appreciate if someone to tech me In step by step stack configuration.

# switch current-stack-member-number renumber new-stack- member-number

example configuration

:#  switch 2 renumber 1

Question : what is the current-stack-member-number

   : what is  the new-stack- member-number

#reload slot 2 -this is right i will reload 2

Question 2: I will configure this configuration in master? master means the first switch installed? because this is assuming the additional switch.

Then how the configuration of new switch? only for the VLAN switchport ?

Please help me this scenario.
