Hi,
I've a (old) running network where my core switch is runnung simple pvst and atm all other switches around configured for rapid pvst. There are only 4 vlans which are looped, all others just spread out to other switches. I'm wondering what would happen when I change the setting at my core to rapid pvst?
Will all connections get down for max. 1 minute?
Thanks,
MB

You will experience a short glitch. I recall about 30s for 6 VLANs.
