System FAN Health status

Hi

I need some help in understanding fan status of my switch. I have two WS-C3750X-24S-S in stack. Each of them have one power supply.

Issue started when these switches were restarted few weeks ago. After restarting PRTG sensor for system health fan is showing alarm. On checking switch physically fans are operating on both switches.

Below is the output of show env fan and show env all. Fan1 and FAN 2 is reported ok but it shows FAN PS-2 is not present alarms me, though it looks like this is referring to redundant power supply and its fan. If it is true, why PRTG sensor is showing alarm on fan status?

Thta looks like a bug theres quite a few known ones that produce that output

As long as your PS is opertaing you should be good

Here is a couple of them there cosmetic so nothing to worry about

Cat3750X Device Manager shows Fan FAULTY if Fan PS is NOT PRESENT

3750 switch's Device Manager shows Fan FAULTY on the Dashbord as follows;
FAN1 is OK
FAN2 is OK
FAN3 is OK
FAN4 is FAULTY

Conditions:
FAN PS is not put in the chassis

FAN 2 is OK
FAN PS-1 is OK
FAN PS-2 is NOT PRESENT

Workaround:
A cosmetic issue and there is no workaround.

PS-FAN falls to FAUTY status after upgrading IOS.

But I have not upgraded IOS. Current IOS is 15.0(2)SE5.

FAN PS-2 is NOT PRESENT -> does this refer to redundant power supply or power power supply of second switch in stack?

I have the same issue. I hv 2 3750X sw in a stack , one of the switch is rebooting frequently .

I hv also the same out put.

I have also faced the same issue. Fan status is not a faulty but Fan status is OK. but still PRTG is showing the error
