Hi to all,
One of our 9400 switches failed to boot after a power failure.
What i found out when plugged a console cable to it is that it was in the following prompt:
boot:
I issued the boot command and it booted correctly but when i checked i noticed the following:
sw1 uptime is 4 minutes
Uptime for this control processor is 6 minutes
System returned to ROM by Critical process cman_fp fault on fp_1_0 (rc=139)
System restarted at 10:58:45 EETDST Thu Sep 24 2020
System image file is "bootflash:packages.conf"
Last reload reason: Critical process cman_fp fault on fp_1_0 (rc=139)
The switch is a 9407R running IOS version Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.09.03.
Any ideas about this error message and if this was the culprit why the switch failed to boot normally?
Thanks,
Ditter.
