Hi

was this ever working or did it just go down ?

whats the sh run int x/x of each port please , that's the interface stats provided , need to see what way its configured both interfaces

do you see the same problem if you go direct to the ASR rather than through the SPA module ?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for responding back.

This been down from 30 days.

SW1#

sh run int t1/1/3
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 228 bytes
!
interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/3
Description: SW2 G0/0/7
switchport access vlan 15
switchport mode access
ip flow monitor ipv4 input
cts manual
policy static sgt 14511 trusted
service-policy output TX_QUEUES
end

SW2#

sh run int g0/0/7
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 217 bytes
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/7
Description: SW1
mtu 1600
ip address 1XX
ip pim sparse-mode
negotiation auto
cts manual
policy static sgt 14511 trusted
cdp enable
end

Am not sure about SPA module. How can i look into this?

Thanks,

Sneha

did anything change for it to go down , any config changes ?

have you bounced the interfaces to start with , tried another port with the same config see if the issue follows , change it to not negotiate instead of auto , remove the trustsec config so its just standard setup see if it makes a difference

the config looks standard enough same as most modules nothing irregular looking through the docs for them

Hello Mark,

Sorry for the delay

Bounced the switches, but still no use to bring back the connectivity. We are guessing this is because we enabled CTS on this uplink. May be a cable difference could make it down ?

SW1  media type is 1000BaseSX SFP and SW2 media type is SX, could this be a probem ?

Hello,

one side is up/down, the other is up/up. The up/down side is configured as an access port in Vlan 15, the other side as what ? A layer 3 port (since it apparently has an IP address) ?

Try to configure both sides as trunks and see if the link comes up.

Hello

SW1  media type is 1000BaseSX SFP and SW2 media type is SX, could this be a probem

sh int g0/0/7
media type is SX

sh int t1/1/3
media type is 1000BaseSX SFP

Have you tried setting the media type both ends to auto

Hello

Does vlan 15 even exist, And if it does, Does that switch have a valid L2 connectivity to it?

sh vlan brief
sh int trunk

Hello Paul,

Sorry for the delay

Yes, Vlan 15 exists and it is active

This switch connected to WAN router and many management ports

Thanks,

Sneha
