Telnet performance

Hi,

Two routers are connected via point-to-point serial line. When I telnet from one router into another, the speed of input/output characters is very slow. What could be the reason.

may be wan link bandwidth is full.

make sho inetrface s0 and see load parameter value

Hello Cisco_Lite,

or the link is full in one or both directions and/or the second router has cpu usage at 100%

verify with sh int ser x/y

sh proc cpu | inc util

sh proc cpu sorted 1min
