A few days back I used tera term to connect to our catalyst 3560 switch through it's usb console port. The usb device driver that I have is ciscoUsbConsoleWindowsDriver version 3.1
But now when I try to connect using tera term, I get nothing but the blank screen. The COM port is working fine because upon disconnecting the usb cable, the COM port is not visible in device manager and then upon reconnecting, it is visible again.
Here is the series of steps I am following:
I connect the usb cable to my laptop usb port. I open tera term and connect to the COM port that says Cisco Serial. Then I change the baud rate to 115200 since this is the baud rate for this switch. And then, nothing comes on screen where as previously after these steps I was in Switch> prompt.
My question is if it was working previously, what could have gone wrong now, that it stopped connecting?
