Hello Nazir,

I am not sure that this command is supported on the Nexus switches but I found a web site that explain how to do a

manual Layer 2 trace on the Nexus switches.please find the link below:

Hope it will help

Hi Nazir

Ahmed is right .

Unfortunately, NXOS does not currently supported traceroute mac feature.

Please note that this command relies on CDP information and has to be supported on all devices along the path to work correctly.

Further documentation that describes "traceroute mac" feature can be found in the 6500 configuration guide:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/12.2SX/configuration/guide/l2trace.html

Alex
