Is there anyway to do traffic shaping (not policing, or limiting) on a 3550 switch?
I used the following format on 3725 router,
policy-map metroe
class voip
priority 192
class dayton
shape average 1400500
class 400staunton
priority 128
class 400dayton
priority 128
class staunton
shape average 1300500
class class-default
fair-queue
But it appears on 3550, all I have is
police Police
set Set QoS values
trust Set trust value for the class
Is there a way to do this?

Hi,
I am afraid traffic shaping isn't supported on the 3550 switches.
From the link below;
The Catalyst 3550 supports policing for both incoming and outgoing directions. Traffic shaping is not supported.

Do any other switches do this? How about a 3560?, Which model would I need to go to?

Yes, 3560 does support traffic shaping and the feature is called SRR shaping.
