When I issue the "no vmware dvs" command we receive the following error message:
ERROR: [VMware vCenter Server 5.5.0 build-1750787] vDS C1100WtSt1B-vs1 port c-6341 is used by entity <not-found.> Virtual NIC 4000, type:vmVnic. The resource 'c-6341' is in use..
This error message seems to suggest that something is using a port (c-6341); therefore, it will not complete the command. How can I find what this error message means? And in particular, how can I tell what is using this port so I can turn it off.
