Hello... Simple question for you experts...
All I want to do is move mac address "0013.cb11.0a59" from VLAN 20 to VLAN 520... but how would I do it when the port is a trunk and I don't want to move the whole port to VLAN 520?
Cheers All.

one of two method
1-change the port the host with that MAC connect to it to one that assign to VLAN you want
2-change the VLAN assign to port that Host connect to it (this step may need disconnect reconnect host)

Thanks for the quick reply... But if I change the port Gi1/0/5 to VLAN 520 wouldn't all those other devices/Mac's been transferred over to VLAN 520 as well?

are you saying that host connect to SW via trunk directly ?

I believe so...
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/5
description front of FCC
switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,20,30
switchport trunk native vlan 10
switchport mode trunk
ip device tracking maximum 9
end

is this Host is VM ?

Nope. Just a bundle of stacked switches.

Client 0013.cb11.0a59 connect to port in this way
Client-SW1-trunk-SW2
for SW2 the mac address learn from trunk but
to change the VLAN for this client
you need to go to SW1 and change the VLAN assign to port the client connect to, this will automatic will change in all other SW trunk.
