does anyone know that,
if two switches that already have their own vlan ID settings, will the vlan still work normally if switches are trunked together?
sorry for the dumb question,
just curious about how the conflict between two switches' vlan setting.
assume that the scenario is one switch's vlan IDs and subnets are totally different from the other switch's, will the conflict happen?

- You will be able to trunk common vlan's , if they operate separate or that is or was the intend then set the vtp-mode to transparent.

The switches will work fine, they will be separate vtp domains so they wont overwrite each others database.
