Trunk VLANs from Catalyst 3750x to Nexus 5548UP

I currently have a Core stack of 2 Catalyst 3750X.  I purchased 2 Nexus 5548UP to hang off the Ten Gigabit modules of the 3750 stack.  I am having trouble getting the VLANs on the 3750 to trunk over to the 5Ks.  I have configured the up links on the Nexus switches as I have on the rest of my Catalyst switches and I can not get the 5K to show the VLANs.  Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.  Most of the information I have found is trunking vlans to a 3750 from a 5k.  I need 3750 to a 5K.  Thanks!

Hi,

Could you please share the configuration of the interfaces from both sides.

Also have you created the vlan's on N5K? If already created and still not working, try manually allowing the vlan over trunk. 

switchport trunk allowed vlan <vlans you like to allow>

I did not create the VLANs on the 5Ks.  I need those VLANs to come from the 3750 Stack

I think I am making progress here.  It appears the VLANs are trunking now.  When I do a sh vlan on the 5Ks I get all my vlans.  However when I try to change an interface to access mode and assign a vlan that port does not work.  I attached the sh ru int eth2/1 below as well.
