Seeking a little help. I acquired a Cisco Unified Communication 520 router and want to run network cable to the various rooms in my house for IP phones. With the attic arrangement, it'd be easier to have a 2nd POE switch connected back with several rooms run off of it. Does that switch necessarily have to be a Cisco (Catalyst) switch or will most any 10/100 POE switch from Amazon work? Thanks! Sorry if this is too basic a question but I've googled and not found a satisfactory answer....
