I am not able to putty into my switch as I get gibberish characters indicating a baud mismatch. However I have tried every single baud rate there is and still no luck. When I try to reset the switch it is not working either. I need to set it to factory defaults but am not having any luck. Does anyone have any other ideas for me? Paperweight maybe?
I know it is weird and it happened with me also some years back. For me, whenever i encounter this type of issue, i try to change the hypervisor to get console access. Did you try hyper terminal/secure crt or any other software other than Putty?
