Hi ,

Does Universal Image with IP Base IOS support the following,

1. OSPF

2. Multicast ( PIM SM, BSR, RP(static / dynamic) configurations)

Hi,

If you need full OSPF and Multicast support, you need IP services license.

I was thinking so, But it is strange in universal image with IP-Base. It support OSPF and Multicast.

So tell me

• what’s the major difference between universal image with IP-Base versus old cisco IOS with Ip-Base?

My understanding is that for OSPF you'll need IP Services instead of IP Base
