Hi all,

I have 2 switches that can not form stack cause version mismatch as error message below:

" Version '16.06.05' mismatch with Active's running version '16.09.04' for package"

I tried to upgrade both of them to cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.03a.SPA.bin

- The switch  version '16.06.05' was successful to upgrade

- The switch version '16.09.04' was failed many time...

Could you help to point out possible issue please..., so far I did

- For the switch 16.06.05, it was a switch 2 in stack. I did no switch provision, renumber it to 1 and reload. After reload I am able to upgrade IOS

- For the 16.09.04, it was switch 1 in stack. Can not run no switch provision.... Upgrade failed message:

Can you post the entire failed logs.

Also you can upgrade in BUNDLE mode and later expand the bin file and convert to INSTALL and add to stack.
